Desert Ridge is a hip, spacious, master-planned residential community in the Northeast Valley of Phoenix adjacent to Arizona State Routes 101 and 51, with 14 neighboring sub-communities. Desert Ridge is a hip suburban neighborhood with a rural feel. Most homes are modern and developed mainly in the late 1990s and early 2000s, although you will find a few restored historic homes in some communities here. 
 
Within Desert Ridge, you will find two main sub-communities. The first, Talinn, is a 234-acre gated community; its homes range from 1,600 to 3,600 square feet and come in one or two stories. Community amenities include a pool, fitness center, and yoga lawn, while more facilities are in the works. Within Talinn, you will find a secondary gated community called Emblem at Talinn. The Emblem homes follow five distinct floorplans, which start at three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and two-car garages. Notably, an elementary school is scheduled for completion within Emblem.
 
Most homes in Desert Ridge have access to a fitness complex, pool, parks, community gathering centers, and paved or lighted walking paths. Residents are highly welcoming, and this master-planned community provides an aesthetically pleasing environment that is ideal for families.

High Street’s Ocean Prime is another excellent fine dining restaurant in the neighborhood to enjoy a classic steak, extensive wine list, and seafood selection. For a stylish American restaurant with old-school tiki flair and Polynesian-inspired entrees and drinks, check out HULA's Modern Tiki along High Street or head to Modern Margarita for Mexican fares serving small plates and margaritas in unique flavors. Blue Martini Lounge is another excellent place to explore a global menu, daily specials, and live music in a stylish space in the heart of Desert Ridge. Another spectacular and new American restaurant to enjoy a tasty meal is Yard House, which features an enormous menu of fresh American fare and a list of draft beers.
 
When shopping in Desert Ridge, check out the Farmer's Market along High Street, which offers a range of natural and organic grocery products and own-brand items. Torch Cigar Bar is another great shopping area with friendly staff and ample seating for exceptional cigars, drinks, and sports on TV. When looking for entertainment, CB Live is what you need. This event venue offers casual pub dining, late closing, and happy hour and is popular for live bands and standup comedy appearances.
 

Things to Do

 
Desert Ridge is one of the largest neighborhoods in the region, with several things to do. High Street Farmers Market is a perfect opportunity to explore and shop for local items, such as fresh produce. For an endless outdoor adventure, head to Arizona Horseman's Park, which is located 12 minutes northeast of the neighborhood and hosts several events and outdoor activities.
 
Bullfrog Pond is another excellent destination to explore a nature preserve, featuring hiking trails, wildlife, and a playground for family fun. You can also check out Cashman Park, a 10-acre neighborhood park with ample green space that serves as a gathering place for locals. You can also visit the Musical Instrument Museum and learn about over 15,000 musical instruments from nearly 200 countries.
 
Desert Ridge also boasts a variety of annual and seasonal events and festivals. The Arizona Jazz Festival is a yearly festival featuring various performing artists, including jazz presenters and educators. Fine Art Fridays is another notable event in the neighborhood where residents enjoy an art market spotlighting local artists.
